Beautiful Western Custom Saddle

This saddle was designed by Pam and custom made exclusively for Pam's Place Tack. We can order this saddle in any of the Steele brand trees to fit your horse properly as well as specific seat size to fit you. We can order it in the Classic or Evolution tree. The short 26" skirt will also work well for the short-backed horse.  Rich brown toned leather tastefully tooled in floral with dark stain really catches your eye.  Exposed stirrup leathers and a smooth slick seat with a Cheyenne roll presents a nice classic look.  Silver and brass toned conchos with lots of strings for all your saddle bags.  Made in the USA with excellent  quality leather from American Leather Direct.  This specific saddle was built on a Steele Equi-fit Classic fiberglass covered Southern Pine wood tree.  Equi-fit Classic trees are assembled in a set-up jig. which positions and holds parts in correct alignment for assembly guarantees every tree is the same every time and virtually eliminates out-of-square, out-of-level and incorrectly measured trees.

16" Custom Saddle
Here we have a more economical model similar design by Pam that is built on a Semi-Quarter horse Steele tree.  Same excellent quality workmanship and leather. Aztec border adds some class with silver and gold tone conchos with lots of strings and rings.  Arizona wrapped stirrups  will add to the comfort for long trail rides.  26 pounds so fairly lightweight.  This saddle can be built on any of the Equi-fit or Evolution Flex-trees by Steele. 

The "Coho"

This model features a new material that is very popular in the equine community today.  It is constructed with "Wax Wear" which is a cotton based fabric which is impregnated with waxes and oils which breathes while resisting inclement weather.  "Wax Wear" is used in the higher end lightweight saddles that are on the market today. This saddle features black leather cantle, pommel, horn and back jockey with Wax Wear Fenders and skirt.   7/8 position hanging D front and rear rigging into rear leather housing."Coho" Lightweight $1,195.00 introductory price.  

17" Leather and Synthetic Saddle

The "Chinook"

Prior to construction of the saddle, the ground seat was formed on the saddle tree to form a narrower, deep and secure seat.  The rich brown toned leather with light barb-wire border tooling is finished off with silver conchos. Front and back D rigging allow you to rig to any position. 8.5” extra wide gullet. Pre-turned endurance leathers for easy access and knee comfort. Stirrups are lightly tooled for a touch of class.  Pencil roll cantle with black perforated heavily padded leather seat. Weighs 34 pounds.


The "Consuelo" Trail Saddle
Built on a extra wide "Steele Equifit" tree. Lovely rich brown tone with "Running R" edge tooling. Short skirt (24") for short backed horses. Front drop double D rigging and back D features multiple options for all types of rigging. Leather sewn and tooled authentic "Crooked Stirrups" and black memory foam seat for the most comfortable ride ever. 100% Shearling wool underside for extra cushioned comfort for horse. Wool also tends to keep the saddle pad from slipping around. Tastefully finished off with Montana Silver conchos give this saddle a real classy look. Weighs about 31 lbs so fairly lightweight. 

The "Michelle" Trail Saddle

This saddle was designed for a rider that was soon to have hip surgery.  She wanted a secure deep seat with a low cantle and higher wider pomel so we special ordered the tree.  We shortened the round skirt as much as possible to fit a shorter backed horse as well as lighten the weight.  Shown in Dark Brown with a black padded suede seat. Constructed on a Steele Equi-fit tree. Double front and single back stainless steel rigging.  Leather laced stirrups.  No tooling for ease of cleaning. 

The "Quigley"Sharp Shooter
This saddle was designed for a client whose horse is named Quigley which has a very short back and prominent shoulders.  The lovely tooling is floral with a running "R" border.  Exposed stirrups with leather tooled authentic "Crooked Stirrups" with the stirrups turned with an "Arizona Twist" for comfort on the knees and ankles.  The slick seat has a memory foam insert making it very comfortable. Double "D" in skirt rigging with a back "D" make this the most versatile saddle rigging.  No need for a back cinch.  We added the silver conchos to dress it up enough for show. 

The "Remuda Classic"

The "Remuda Classic" model was designed by Pam and is the second model made for Pam's Place Tack. The word Remuda is of Spanish derivation, for "change of horses"  Tastefully tooled with antique  floral and running "R" edged.  The exposed stirrup leathers with tooled "Crooked Stirrups" and silver conchos give the saddle a real classic look and was designed with a slight square skirt measuring 24 inches allowing a great fit for  short backed horses. 

The "Cablata"
This is the newest addition to Pam's saddle line.  This particular model is built on the Evolution Tree by Steele. Rich chestnut color with black padded seat. Pencil roll cantle that is 5 inches high which creates a deep secure seat. 28 pounds.  In-skirt rigging in front and back allows all rigging options. Finished off with silver tone conchoes and stained barb wire tooling.  Lots of strings to tie your trail riding needs. Pre-turned endurance stirrups for comfort. This saddle is in stock.
